ERICA NONNI, Managing Director

Before opening NSM as an agency for wine communications, Erica worked for 10+ years in wine, food and consumer goods marketing in the USA, the UK and continental Europe, developing trade, press and consumer campaigns to help brands and institutional clients achieve growth. An agency of one that started with wine has become a small, dynamic group of professionals who serve wine and specialty food brands, with an emphasis on wellness marketing.

Erica has worked in traditional and digital marketing with McCann-Erickson, in wine retail sales (Oddbins UK, Wine Library USA), and as Marketing Director of a London fine wine merchant. Erica has a Bachelor's degree (cum laude) from Georgetown University, a Masters degree (with Merit) from the London School of Economics and a WSET Advanced Certificate in Wines & Spirits (with Distinction). She is the NY Co-Director of the Georgetown Entertainment and Media Alliance. In her spare time she enjoys hosting dinner parties and traveling.

MINDY VALONE

Media Relations Specialist

A passionate storyteller with nearly 20 years of experience in food, wine & spirits and hospitality PR and marketing, Mindy is our resident media relations machine. From managing press on the red carpet to brand collaborations with Formula 1, her creative and strategic approach to media relations has landed major print, digital, and broadcast features in top-tier outlets across the country. From The New York Times and Wine Enthusiast to Real Simple and The TODAY Show, Mindy always has her finger on the pulse of what excites the media. 

As a veteran media relations specialist, Mindy has conceptualized and executed successful PR programs for a variety of food, beverage and restaurant concepts. With NSM, she works on the Ferrari Trento brand. Her client experience also includes True Story Foods, Hilliards Chocolates, SaltWorks, St. Pierre Bakery, Georges Duboeuf Wines, Cannonball Wine Co., Heimat New York, Egan’s Irish Whiskey, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse and Wahlburgers, among many others.

When Mindy isn’t busy telling a brand’s story, you can usually find her exploring Prospect Park with her dog, Lulu, or playing tourist in the city. She is a member of the New York Women’s Culinary Alliance and resides in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

LORENA TAPIERO

Media & Marketing Specialist

Lorena Tapiero has established a reputation as a dedicated communications professional in the food & beverage, hospitality, health & wellness and sports & entertainment sectors for 15+ years. She develops comprehensive PR and branding campaigns from ideation to execution and her experience working abroad in global roles has enabled her to bring a unique perspective to tailoring communications strategies for diverse audiences and cultures. As a key member of the founding team that revolutionized the non-alcoholic beverage landscape for Seedlip drinks in the U.S, she drove content creation plans and executed marketing initiatives to grow the brand's image. In her spare time she is pursuing her Yoga Therapy certification.

Christian Holthausen Media & Marketing Specialist

Christian is the founder of Westbrook Marketing Partners. Based in Paris, he has more than twenty years of experience in developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for international wine and spirits brands, with a strong focus on the champagne category. He previously served as the Export Sales & International Communications Director for Champagne AR Lenoble and the International House Communications Director for Champagnes Piper-Heidsieck & Charles Heidsieck. He has served as head of marketing for Nyetimber and a branding consultant for Gusbourne in the UK. He managed the wine and champagne portfolio of Rémy Cointreau USA in New York. He began his career at Champagne Veuve Clicquot in 1999. Christian has contributed articles to publications including Meininger’s Wine Business International, Decanter, The Guardian, www.jancisrobinson.com and The World of Fine Wine. In 2017, he was shortlisted for Emerging Wine Writer of the Year at the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers Awards.

Katelyn Reardon

Account Coordinator

Katelyn is a next-generation marketer and publicist with 3 years of experience across the food & wine, health, sports, and entertainment sectors. She holds a Master's in Communications and Media from Rutgers University, & excels in media relations, social media marketing, podcast production, and content creation, making her a versatile powerhouse in the industry. 

As a proud member of Gen Z herself, Katelyn remains attuned with the ever-evolving landscape of media & marketing, as well as the preferences & trends that resonate with her generation. This invaluable insight informs her professional endeavors, enabling her to craft campaigns and strategies that truly connect with her target audience.
