Erica has spent over 10 years working in wine, food and consumer goods marketing in the USA, the UK and continental Europe, developing impactful trade, press and consumer promotions to support brands and regions in their commercial growth. She has worked in traditional and digital marketing with McCann-Erickson, in wine retail sales (Oddbins UK, Wine Library USA), and as Marketing Director of London fine wine merchant, AWC Wine. Erica opened Nonni Strategic Marketing in 2009 to build food and beverage brands through integrated commercial and communications campaigns. She has enjoyed working closely with commercial growth-oriented brands, as well as collaborating with larger agencies to deliver major campaigns, such as for Francis Ford Coppola Winery, Vinitaly International, Les Vins Georges Duboeuf, Wines of Portugal and Wines From Spain.
Erica has a Bachelors degrees (cum laude) from Georgetown University, a Masters degree (with Merit) from the London School of Economics and a WSET Advanced Certificate in Wines & Spirits (with Distinction). She conducts business in English, Italian and French. In her spare time, Erica enjoys traveling, hosting dinner parties, visiting wine bars and learning Spanish.
A recent MBA graduate in Food and Wine from the Bologna Business School, Italy. With well-rounded experience in marketing, finance and business development, he approaches complex problems with a creative mind to devise innovative strategies. When he’s not in the office, you can find him cooking with a glass of wine in hand.
Ashley recently graduated from Rutgers University’s School of Communication and Information with her Bachelor’s in Journalism and Media Studies. During her time there, she completed an editorial internship with TV Insider, the digital publication of TV Guide Magazine.
No stranger to the food and wine business, Ashley has been working in the food and restaurant industry for six years while attending college. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and catching up on her favorite television shows with a glass of sauvignon blanc.
LAUREN NICHOLSON NONNI
Digital Media Strategist
Lauren has been crafting her digital marketing expertise for over eight years. Early in her career, Lauren was responsible for building online communities from the ground up for the entertainment division of Procter & Gamble. From there, she focused her skill set on helping small business grow in the digital space through implementation of proper search engine optimization techniques and successful social media strategies. From tourism to health, her portfolio of client experience includes Eight Oaks Distillery, On Location Tours, Massage Envy, and Pain Specialists of Greater Lehigh Valley.
Lauren has a Bachelor's degree (magna cum laude) from the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, skiing, traveling, and relaxing with a glass of red wine.
Robert G. Nonni has over 35 years of experience in sales, marketing, operational and financial management. He began his highly successful career in sales management with McDonnell Douglas Automation Company, where he became the youngest Regional Director in company history. In 1979 Robert co-founded Spectrum Technology Group, Inc, an information technology consultancy which performed custom software development and systems integration for major corporations. The company grew within two decades to exceed $100 million in annual sales and to employ over 500 full time systems professionals. In 1996 the firm was acquired by CIBER, Inc. Robert served as President of Spectrum and as Corporate Vice President of National Sales for the parent company until his retirement from Spectrum/CIBER in 2000.
He joins his daughter, Erica, as a Partner in Nonni Strategic Marketing. He holds a BA in English Literature from Susquehanna University and an MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
